SASEANEE is delighted to launch the #30seconds Campaign, celebrating inspiring young individuals who are creating meaningful impact through their ideas, actions, leadership, innovation, community engagement, sustainability initiatives, and social contributions. We invite young people under to share their inspiring story or impactful journey through a short 30-second video submission. 8th International Conference on Sustainability Education (ICSE) 2026

The 8th International Conference on Sustainability Education (ICSE) 2026 builds on the momentum of previous ICSE editions, responding to the growing urgency for coordinated action to address global sustainability challenges. This year’s theme, “Sustainability Education for Transformative Action,” highlights the role of education in enabling meaningful and lasting change. As the world faces accelerating climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental degradation, and widening inequalities, sustainability education must move beyond awareness to foster systems thinking, ethical leadership, innovation, and collective responsibility. The conference underscores the need to translate knowledge into action by empowering educators, policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, youth, and civil society to work together in advancing sustainable solutions. By strengthening collaboration across sectors and promoting action-oriented learning, ICSE 2026 aims to position sustainability education as a key driver of resilient, inclusive, and sustainable futures.

In 1993, SASEANEE ( South and South-East Asian Network for Environmental Education ) was launched as a workshop by Centre for Environment Education (CEE) in partnership with IUCN CEC to bring organizations and people together to share resources, and experiences for environment education from 16 countries across South and Southeast Asia.
