Daniel Schaffer is the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a global non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable development through environmental education. Under his leadership, FEE operates major international programs including Eco-Schools, Blue Flag, and Green Key.
Prior to leading FEE, he served as the General Manager of EcoOcean, an Israeli non-profit focused on marine environmental protection and education. His extensive background spans non-profit management, strategic business development, and environmental advocacy.
At FEE, Schaffer champions a positive, solutions-focused approach. He is a strong advocate for empowering youth and equipping educators worldwide with practical sustainability tools. He actively represents the foundation at major international climate summits, including the COP conferences, and serves on steering councils for initiatives like the MECCE Project.
